Meet the CEO

At Renaissance, we are all about dental, and our senior leadership is too.

Robert P. Mulligan, named President and CEO of Renaissance in February 2011, has an extensive background in building and growing dental plans. Previously, he was Regional Vice President – Dental Market Solutions for United Healthcare Specialty Benefits, where he held several senior-level positions. He has also worked for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America as its Senior Sales Executive – Large Account Dental Sales; co-founded Optimum Health Inc., an alternative health care network and employee benefits company in Chicago; and held market and network development positions for First Commonwealth, Inc.

Mulligan is a graduate of the State University of New York, and has done post-graduate finance and accounting work at the University of Chicago.
